We are honored to support a variety of non-profit organizations throughout the year as they truly are the heart of our community. Through the Work-Collective Gives Back program, we provide meeting and event space free of charge to a nonprofit organization based in Central Oregon.
For 2021/22 we are supporting Central Oregon Center for the Arts (COCA) and their mission to celebrate the arts by bringing a comprehensive, inclusive, performing- and visual-arts facility designed to serve the diverse cultural needs of Central Oregon through the stage, music, visual arts, and education. We were introduced to COCA through Work-Collective member Richard Camp, and are excited to provide their volunteers a space to collaborate as they bring their vision to life.
Imagine a modern sustainably designed center for the performing and visual arts that unites our community, enriches the diversity and inclusiveness of our Central Oregon culture and transforms our common human experience through a rich arts environment. In response to our community, we are already on the journey to help make this vision a reality.
Because the Central Oregon Center for the Arts does not exist, COCA has formed a coalition of representatives from the arts and business communities, as well as thought leaders from the area, to develop a plan to build it. To move the project forward, the Board of Directors commissioned a Discovery Study to serve as our road map for strategic facility and campaign planning. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we can only do this with your help. Support the arts in your community.
