Member Spotlight: Meet Martin Marquez

Martin Marquez

Meet Martin Marquez, a Corporate Accountant at SDS Capital Group, where numbers and mission go hand in hand. For the past four years, Martin has played a key role in supporting SDS’s powerful goal: increasing access to low-income housing. While affordable housing is often tackled by nonprofits or government programs, SDS stands out as one of the few for-profit firms committed to solving this critical issue. The work can be complex and sometimes behind the scenes, but for Martin, the impact is what matters most.

When he’s off the clock, Martin keeps things dynamic. Whether he’s out running, swimming laps, or diving into the world of K-pop, he’s always exploring something new. That same curiosity and energy brought him to Work-Collective nearly three years ago. He says it’s been a great way to get out of the house, stay productive, and connect with others, though he admits he’s still learning how to fully relax.

“Please come say hi!” he says. A self-described “shy extrovert,” Martin thrives around people and loves striking up conversation once he gets going.

We’re lucky to have Martin as part of the Work-Collective community—thoughtful, driven, and always happy to connect with others.
