Carley Boyce, owner and operator of ARF Oregon, has been around Work-Collective since the summer of 2023, trying out different membership options. As a retired school counselor/transitioning caregiver and now pet care professional, she loves Work-Collective for the feeling of being part of an active and creative community. That, and all the Work-Collective dogs!
Carley started ARF Oregon out of deep loss – letting go of her school counseling career, losing her life-long canine best friend, and navigating her role as caregiver to her mother battling a myriad of physical and mental health issues. Her business feels like a way to give back, knowing how much it can mean to a person to have their pet well cared for when they are away.
Now as a member of the Work-Collective community, and seeing all the puppy dog eyes around the computer work areas, Carley would love to provide pop-up, on-demand services for the hard-working canines here. Just reach out if you’d be interested in this service, and she’d be honored to do a wag and sniff (meet and greet) to see how she can help out with an early morning, mid day, or afternoon/evening tailor-made run/romp/walk for your canine coworker companion while you work. Alternatively, be on the lookout for messages on the discussion boards for when “The Adventure Buddy Is In” and meet Carley right here in the office!
