Since opening the doors to Work-Collective in January 2020 much has changed – a global pandemic, an influx of new residents and workers in Bend and dramatic changes to how and where we work. Despite these challenges, Work-Collective community co-working continues to thrive and attract new members.
Owners Kent and Sara Odendahl attribute much of the success to a supportive community and strong partnerships that helped to support the flex office space throughout the past five years. “When we launched the business, we could not have foreseen the challenges ahead with the pandemic. However, thanks to the ongoing support of our founding members, our community partners and a dash of good luck, we’re thrilled to support our five year anniversary,” said Sara Odendahl, co-owner and founder.
To celebrate the milestone, Work-Collective is opening its doors to the community with an anniversary limited time Five for Five promotion* featuring 5-day passes for $5 for new members (A $150 value) Only A limited number of passes are available until 1/31/2025, when they are gone, they are gone! Community events are planned throughout the month culminating in an Evening Art Walk on Thursday, January 30, 5-7pm featuring current artists in residence and their work throughout the space.
Looking ahead, Work-Collective is excited to expand on its current offerings for flexible work and meetings space in its NorthWest Crossing location with the additional product offerings including Meeting Memberships and Virtual Office Memberships.

Meet our Founding Members
We pride ourselves in the community we’ve created at Work-Collective, and our members are the greatest testament to that.
Seven of our members have been part of this community since that very first year! We are grateful for each of them and what they’ve contributed to our community.
Work-Collective Now and Then
We’ve seen quite the evolution since our opening! We started on the second floor with 5,500 sf, 6 offices and 12 dedicated desks. As with most businesses, Covid-19 changed our business model forcing us to pivot. One huge benefit was the ability to expand our footprint to eventually take over the entire first floor of our building taking advantage of the businesses that were forced to close during the pandemic.
